Cmore Message Log Download
I'm messing around with message logging on the Cmore for the first time, but it doesn't appear to be generating a CSV file on the USB drive I have installed. I have checked to be sure that:
- messages are set to be logged to the USB drive in the panel manager.
- the messages I'm interested in are set to "log" in the message database
- the lookup text tag value matches the message number(s) I wish to log - holding it for 3 seconds to make sure the HMI has more than enough time to register the number has changed
One thing that was mentioned in the support video I watched is that the CSV file "completes" at midnight and a new one is created each day. Am I not able to remove the USB file before midnight on any given day to see the messages logged that day? Seems like a strange constraint - so I'm hoping I'm missing a step somewhere to get this to work.

Can you see the log folder on the drive? The txt files should be in there, one for each day (the name is rolled over at midnight, the txt file is always available). Can you access the txt from the Web Browser?
Help topic CM093 describes the behaviors. Buffer is written every minute or when buffer is full.
Is this a project you can upload to the forum?

No I can't see the log folder on the drive when I remove it.
I don't have the web browser configured, but will set it up and give that a try.
It's also worth noting that I am logging some data in a trend and this is working as expected.
