We have a EA7-T6CL-R panel. Recently we had a power issue and the panel got switched off and when we turned it on, It says no software found in the panel. I have tried using a recovery tool and finally the screen display on.

But the HMI panel is in safe mode. I tried removing the battery and trying the recovery mode again but it is still in the safe mode. Can anyone help me how can we get rid of this safe mode?

    1.) Have you tried connecting to the panel and attempt to reload the project?

    2.) Try reloading the firmware into the panel and then reload the project.

      I have tried connecting to the panel and it said "panel has an older firmware version than the software. I went ahead and upgraded the panel and now it says, “ NO USER PROGRAM”. I created an empty project with .EAP file and transferred it to the panel and the project has been transferred. So, I think we might now need a project with the nitrogen glove box program with .EAP file so that we can transfer that project to the panel and see if that works.

        1.) What version of the C-more software are you using?

        2.) Do you have a back up of your project to load into the panel?

        We are using C-more ver2.78+SP2 version software.

        We didnot have backup of our project with us. Currently we are looking for that projecct (.eap file) of the project which is suitable for the nitrogen glovebox. If you guys have it can you please shafre us the .eap file project for the golvebox. We will transfer it to the panel and try if that works.

        We were also not able to perform a recovery tool after we have upgraded the firmware of the panel.IMG_7270IMG_7274IMG_7273IMG_7271IMG_7270IMG_7269We also have version 6.74 but that is not connecting to the panel.

    1.) You are using the latest software for EA7 panels 2.78 SP2.

    2.) If recovery tool and/or firmware upgrade are not responsive panel firmware could be corrupted.

    3.) AutomationDirect does not keep backup's of customer projects. You will need to locate a backup from original OEM?
