Wiring TRD-SHR360VWOD line driver encoder to Sure Servo 2 drive using CN5 ZL-HD15M-CBL-2P cable (HD15 to flying Leads)
I want to use the TRD-SHR360VWOD line driver encoder as an auxiliary encoder for my application with a Sure servo2 drive. looking at the pinout of the encoder and the cable (see below) my concern lies with the Blue 0V lead on the encoder. There is not a corresponding pinout of 0V on the ZL-HD15M-CBL-2P cable. Does this mean that I must tie the blue encoder lead to a 0V lead on a regulated power supply elsewhere on my panel or will connecting to GND suffice?
You can connect the encoder's 0V (blue wire) to either pin 6 or pin 7 of CN5.
