CM5-RHMI's Run LED and Error LED are lit up whenever a Pushbutton with security code is pressed (Tied to a plc bit). As soon as the security code is either entered or times out then everything goes back to normal. Is this normal behavior for a RHMI?
The user manual shows RUN and ERR LEDs blinking (0.5s) to indicate password required. Is this what you are seeing?
Yes sir. I should have looked up the manual, but I've used RHMI's before and haven't had them blink the lights. I guess I usually turn the sounds off for the HMI unit and that's probably why I haven't noticed this feature before. Thanks for clearing up my ignorance!! Have a great day!
