CM5 Safe Mode

Anyone else experiencing CM5 Safe Mode issues when no update is being performed?

 

I've have 3 CM5-T10W go into safe mode while deployed, with no updates being performed.

    Are these on the latest firmware or an older version?

    Well, they have no firmware right now :-( But, I believe they were on 8.21.

    Try updating the firmware to v8.26. If the update goes smoothly test them to see if it occurs again.

     

    How long does it usually take for them to go into safe mode after they are online?

    They don't go online, they're stuck in safe mode. I've attempted to load 8.26, they sit in 'loading program' for at least 20 minutes.

      I found your active support case and discussed it with the technician over that case. He should be emailing you from the support case as soon as he can.

    I downloaded 9.00 and was able to fix both with the 9.00 firmware, then I was able to roll both back successfully to 8.26.

     

    These were originally 8.10 and 8.11 when they entered safe mode.
