P1-RX conflict

My understanding is that each cpu can connect 4 RX cards.

I would have assumed we could have several CPU’s on the same network each with multiple RX cards.

My current project has 2 CPU’s on the same network. One with 1 RX (set to 01) the other CPU has 4 RX cards (set to 02-05).

Each CPU works individually until connected to the same network then the outputs from RX cards no longer work (modules connected directly to each cpu still output correctly.

Is 4 RX cards the limit per network as well as per CPU?

The way we set this up, is the CPUs on one network, and each CPUs remote I/O on it's own network. We have had no issues. So you would have 3 separate networks.

Ahh! Ok, we have everything on the same network. So we need to separate the rx network from the cpu network.

    Thanks for the input.
