PLC DirectLOGIC D0-05DD has a sinking 24V DC output with a common terminal C2. What are the effects of connecting this common terminal to 110V AC as if it were D0-05DR?

According to the specifications for the D0-05DD (see this link) the unit is rated for 6–27 VDC on the outputs and 12–24 VDC on the inputs. Connecting 110VAC to this unit's inputs or outputs would be harmful to the hardware and is not recommended.
Thanks for the feedback. I had reached the same conclusion since it clearly says that the outputs are sinking, which doesn't apply to AC.
