ADC Launch Project Manager_01 (AutomationDirect) asked a question.
We are pleased to announce another addition to our ProSense Sensor product line.
Our ProSense inductive tube sensors are designed to detect metallic objects as they pass through the sensor’s detection zone. These compact, low-profile sensors have a cuboid polycarbonate IP67-rated housing and are ideal for integration with automated assemblies, vibratory feeders, and material handling systems. Two types of sensors are available, the TIS series, which is used for general-purpose detection of stationary or slow-moving objects, or the TID series, used for applications where metallic contamination of the sensor face is a concern.
ProSense inductive ring sensors are used to detect small metallic parts as they pass through the sensor’s central ring opening. The RSID series features two selectable operating modes. Dynamic mode delivers enhanced resolution for parts moving at speeds of 0.1 m/s or greater. Static mode is optimized for high-speed vibratory feeder applications, helping prevent false triggering caused by metallic debris near the sensing ring. It also accommodates slower-moving parts and applications requiring continuous presence detection.
Also added are ProSense IPS series pendulum limit switches and the SEN-TESTER-PRO sensor tester. The pendulum limit switches precisely and efficiently detect the fill level of bulk materials in vibratory feeders and hopper systems. These switches adapt to your application with trimmable rod lengths of 100, 200, and 300mm. The sensor tester provides a fast field check for ProSense sensors and includes features such as automatic PNP/NPN/Push-pull detection, visual and acoustic signaling, quick-action sockets, shock protection, and built-in inductive plate, magnet, and reflector for sensor testing.
