Problem on CM5-12
Operator was running machine. Left station and came back from lunch, to the screen reading SAFE MODE ERR-202-5. I understand this is clapped out firmware, but I thought this only happened during an update. Installed it about 1 year ago. HMI running V8.23. Has an identical one beside it, and it's never given an issue.
There is a known issue in v8.23 that can cause this during operation. You may be able to recover the panel by reloading the firmware. However, it may happen again if you remain on v8.23.
We recommend upgrading to v9.01, which contains a fix for this. If you prefer not upgrade to v9 we will be releasing v8.27 in the fall and that will also have a fix for this bug.
Updated and reloaded program. Did the same for it's sister machine. Time will tell.
